Trained the traditional way. Teaching a better one.
I trained at the Conservatory in Italy and spent an Erasmus+ period teaching and performing in Spain. But most of what ends up in a lesson isn’t from a diploma, it’s from years of trying to explain, clearly, why something works.
I work with players who are tired of being told “play it like this” without ever hearing why. If you want to understand the reason behind a phrase, not just copy a fingering, that’s who these lessons are for.
A few quick answers
I’m an adult (or I started late). Is it too late?
No. I’ve taught students from 7 to 75, and I adapt the approach to whoever’s in front of me — their age, their goals, their starting point. Progress looks different for everyone; what matters is that it’s real.
What actually happens in the trial lesson?
The first half is about getting to know each other: your background with the guitar (if any), and a bit about you and why you picked it up. Then we talk about where you’d like to get to. If you already play, I’ll ask you to show me something — even a few bars tell me a lot about how you approach the instrument. By the end you’ll have a few concrete suggestions and a clearer sense of what a path built around you could look like.
What do I need for online lessons?
Just three things: a guitar, a device to video call from (computer, tablet, or phone), and a decent internet connection. A music stand helps but isn’t essential. If later on you want to bump up the quality, an external microphone, camera, or audio interface can help — but none of that matters for your first lesson.
